If you or anyone else needs 4AGZE ecu's, I have you covered with 3 sitting in my drawer here at home.
They are the dual fuel map models from the MR2 SC 4AGZE, one fuel map for premium and one fuel map for regular gas in case you can't find premium. MR2 SC AFM's can be used, as well as all other MR2 SC parts to simplify installation. Instead of trying to replicate a Japanese setup, why not just set things up like a MR2 SC using the MR2 SC factory wiring diagram? Keep things simple.
All the Japanese 4AGZE ecu's from the importers are mapped for premium 100 Japanese octane gasoline.
So if the imported ones are mapped to 100 octane.. if I was to get a japanese 4agze from an AE92.. would it just be as simple as swapping the ECU to our MR2 ECU or would it include other modifications?
Also, I've heard people argue that there's many ways to calculate octane.. so just because its 100 octane in Japan, doesn't mean that it's 100 octane in Canada.. do they measure/calculate Octane in Japan the same way as in Canada or is it different.. I'm sure someone knows.. for all we know 100 Octane in japan = 92-94 Octane in Canada.
Not all gas stations sell 94, 93.5 or even 92 octane gas. This can be a problem if you are drive from Montreal to Toronto often.
If you want to use the MR2 SC 4AGZE ecu, wire your import 4AGZE engine like a MR2 SC 4AGZE.
You are fabricating a harness anyways, so why not use make a harness that has english wiring diagrams available and that is easier and more practical than attempting to fabricate a Japanese MAP 4AGZE harness?
I just realized that i might have to change the whole front end of the car in order to make suitable to handle a 4AGZE. The suspension in the SR5 is different from the GTS, on the gts, the axle and transmission sit lower than on the SR5. So in order to fit the 4AGZE I need new mounts to be placed in different locations, and I need a new bottom end off a GTS..
I consider that too much money, i might as well just go and buy a GTS...
I think I'll stick with the "All show, no Go" idea for now...

fuk dood.. just go buy jeff's GTS.. looks better than mine! get it repainted, etc etc.. sell your car and work from there... by the time you're done, you would probably spend the same amount to do the GTS than you would converting the SR5 (and that would include re-painting and 4AGZE conversion).
