I'm not sure if this is where this topic should go but i just wanted to know if anyone here has done an auto to manual swap on a 1985 corolla sr5 and if so can you please advise me on what i will need to complete this swap.

I'm looking to purchase a 4age with tranny for the car.i just want to know what else i'd need like if the tranny is hydro or cable etc...

You will need the shifter and cables, the brake pedal assembly, the clutch pedal assembly and the brake master cylinder with it's line to the slave cylinder. You will need to make holes to mount the brake master cylinder most likely. Then hope you have the brackets and clips for mounting those parts. Check with a salvage yard to see if the axles will need to be swapped, though I think they will be ok.
