I am out of ideas, I was helping a friend replace his disc brakes in a 95 Chevy S-10 and after completing everything and bleeding the lines we start the car and have no pressure at the pedal, no matter how many times he bleed the brakes same rsult. Also, the emergency brake light won't go off any help would be greatly appreciated, or any question feel free.

Was the brake pedal firm before the brake job? Did the pedal ever firm up after bleeding the brakes. Power assist brakes will magnify any softness in the brake pedal. Are you sure you got all of the air out, and did not allow air to get into the master cylinder when bleeding the brakes? You can try clamping off the front brake lines then seeing if you get a firm pedal. Use something with a wide contact area so you don’t permanently pinch or damage the lines. Could be a bad master cylinder. Remove the clamps one at a time to determine if the front left or right brake is causing the problem. Any brake fluid leaks?

The emergency brake has a switch on the ratchet mechanism somewhere. This switch can get stuck on, misadjusted, etc.

first off, it sounds like you guys probably bled the brakes wrong.

make sure that when the person takes their foot OFF the pedal, the valves ae closed, otherwise the system will suck air back in, and the brake fluid will froth and bubble with air meaning no brake pressure at all almost. the first time that I bled my brakes, I made this mistake and didn't realized it until I had put all my wheels back on

and the emergency brake light means not enough brake fluid- that's how toyota designed the warning light
