I'm getting a crazy turboish whistle from my intake that, while at times is amusing, is really starting to annoy me and the lil guy wired to my maf with the vacume tubes running in and out of it is ticking like mad but I haven't gotten a cel ... anyone ever come across any such problems?

I have the same symptoms with my car. The higher my car revs, the more turbo sound is generated. I believe that it is the air filter making the sound.

run without a filter, the sound will go away. its the nature of a filter and the air wil whistle through it.

I love my SRI, it doesnt sound like a whistle though like you guys describe....it sounds like a muscular roar

My brother's TC make that same noise. He has the Injen CAI. It's normal unless you want to put a cotton filter like HKS super mega flow. It sounds real good and Camrys with the 2AZ-FE would expect the same sound if they have one. My 94 Corolla used to do that when I had the Ractive intake. Gotta love the loud intake sound than the exhaust because it's better.
