4age silvertop 20v

ok let's start an arguement here:

so i have the 20v wiring harness....so what?
i'm wanting to put in a silver top...BUT i currently have a perfectly healthy redtop with 226,000km on it.

i was booting around on the streets today and i kept up with my bro(2002 sir)..he couldnt pull from me and i couldnt pull from him...same. and that's proof of how strong the engine is running right now.

my question is....should i really go the route of the 20v? i am aware that it requires extensive modifcation and funding...which i am prepared for.

but the thing is that the 16v motor is just as abundant(if not more) and very cheap to replace. considering this fact, i could just get a set of web cams and throw them into my redtop for much much less than the 20v conversion would cost....and what is the point of tossing out a perfectly fine motor?

at the same time take in this perspective: i can sell the motor. someone will for sure buy it. the 20v head is a much better design than the 16v, and let's not forget the wonderful sound of 4 throttles growling all at once.....then again if anything goes on the 20v(ie: head gasket) i'd be fucked cos where would i get it?

anyways any feedback/comments would be appreciated...

20v would be damb sweet but realistically i'd say it's not worth it

the guy who owns the mashed up 20v i posted spent close to 10g's on his swap.. but thats also cause he fucked up but thats besides the point.... he also said it wasn't work the money and time for what you get

but than again he also drives the 96 sedan which is a totally different car from our ae92's

i still think you should n/a the fuck out of your 4age

yea i was thinking along the lines of redrum too.
maybe if i got a ride in a car with a 20v it'd help. because i always hear that the 20v isnt worth the $
anyway ball park figure of how much everything will be in the end for 20v: 2000 bucks.

that is tranny/ecu/harness/labour.

or i can get webcams for my redtop and have $ left on stuff for like....some sweet rims hmmm
