gas needle drops like a mofo

okay me start up me car and me have 3/4 tank of gas

me go for a drive and the needle drop to half tank, me stop at light and needle take 90seconds to go back to 3/4 tank.

so me drive on again when light turn green, normal drivin, and needle drop again

etc.etc.

when me gun it me needle drop to 1/4 or empty

what is me problem with me god damn car???

It sounds like your floater is busted! Maybe it's affected by movement

at the track that happens cos the car is swaying around like mad...but on the street then the only reason can be ur floater.

take off the rear seats, and open up the fuel pump.....its a easy access and also good for visual inspection.

Hey mine does that too, but only up to 1/8. My brother's car, a 91 Corsica does it up to 1/4 and it does it much more often than mine.
