We seem to attract a lot of young inexperienced car enthusiasts who require guidance regarding even the simplest of mechanical and automotive thoery.
To that end I have been surfing the net off and on for weeks looking for some good info for folks who are totally green and this is what I have come up with so far.

Engine electrical system and electrical theory. Extremely good pages here teaching the basics of electricity and elecronics as they apply to automobiles. It also goes indepth to explain almost all of the electrical subsystems of Toyota car engines. Depending on the level of knowlegde you wish to obtain plan on 15 minutes to 30 hours.
