Any Toyota's come with forged pistons other then the 1g-gte? any toyota's in the us that come with forged pistons?

Yes for sure there is the 2jzgte/2jzge the 4agze comes with a semi forged piston,7mgte is the same with the semi forged idea..

oh, and i have one more question. are the pistons from any of the egnines above interchangable with the pistons from a 1G-GTE?

No I dont think the pistons are interchangeble but you can have custom JE units made for that engine anyways.Semi forged is a high pressure cast that is heat treated for strenght.

the 1g-gte and the 4a-gze doesnt have forge pistons ... Its semi forge... Only the top of the pistons are forged

All the hyper-cast pistons ate done by ART which makes 2 grades of piston, one good (hyper-cast) and one that is not.
The Japanese pistons have a heat barrier on the OEM units which help in the longevity of the piston that is all.

There is no replacement for a die forged piston. The cost is less than $600.00 Canadian/set complete with rings and pins. So why gamble with a set half the price which can end up costing you a complete motor.

well, the 1g-gte pistons that i am getting are not going in a toyota. they are going in a d16 honda engine. they are the same bore and b16 honda rods work perfect with them. and with this combo od rods and pistons i can have a turbo ready motor that can handle up to 18psi daily for under $500.
