POLL: Data Logger + Video Price Point.

Hey guys,

I am in the middle of deciding the price point for the Video + Data Logger (VDL) that I am creating. Basically this unit will record telemetry such as speed, G force, RPM, and Lap Times based on GPS tracking. This unit will also simultaneously record and overlay video via a video camera that will be included with the base unit; perfect for immediate viewing in between track sessions.

Base Unit includes:

• VDL unit
• 1x Camera
• SD card
• Cigarette lighter power adapter.

This unit is universal for all types of cars. Most track guys will love this unit and I believe enthusiasts like yourself may be interested as well for other applications.

What is the price range that you are willing to buy this product for? Please Vote!

Well, a G-tech pro-comp is $200, a chinese 3mp digicam is $45, $9 3M duct tape, $25 SD card.
I'm going with the least expencive choice. =)

ah, i c.

we are going to offern a pretty good lipstick type camera. 520 lines approx 0 lux. Our unit will be able to connect to other sensors as well. (throttle, temps....)

How many inputs? I'm more interest in datalogger for tunning then recording track run. So I'll like logging for RPM, wideband O2, MAP/AFM/MAS, throttle pos etc.

pineapple: it could record any amt of inputs. as long as the sensors are there. thats we are hoping for right now.

however, there will be a maxium of 4 camera inputs
