BHP stands for Brake Horse Power, or flywheel dyno power.
The 3S-GTE came in several flavors. The first gen in the ST165('88-'89) was rated 190bhp, the second gen in the ST185('90-'92) was rated 200 or 210bhp I think, and the third gen in the ST205 which so far as I know wasn't offered in US was rated 240bhp or so. I'm not sure which gen engines were in the MR2s. I know the second, but I'm not sure if they ever came with the first gen or third. WHP depends on what car it's in. The alltrac had more drivetrain loss than the MR2 did.
