What molding are you wanting to paint? (As in; what is it on your car, that you want to paint?)

If you are talking about the molding at the bottom of the doors.. its a pain to have painted.. Since it is flexible and all.. it doesn't seem to hold paint very well..IMO.. I have mine pained... but every now and then i have to touch them up cause the paintes gets chiiped or scratched...

wash it really really really well and then lightly sand it but really really well, make sure to get every mm possible
use 320 or higher, 500 is good
and then primer 3 light coats, then 500 grit lightly sand and then paint
