umm problem is my instrument panel no longer lights and ive checked all fuses etc...i installed an aftermarket deck awhile back thats when it stopped working...so i figured i f***ed somehting up but the wires arent labeled...and on an old car its SO hard to find the right stuff...so i thought it might help me
ya i guess they arent that bad...lol..no but thats whats so weird about the lighting...only the instrument cluster main lights dont work....turn signals and stuff do work on it...also the lights on my shifter dont work (its an automatic ) so basically those two things dont work and the dimmer doesnt work...the switch does nothing...o ya ventilation control lights dont work either...all of the things not working are wired from what i can see and all the bulbs are good still.
yeah, toyota grounds a lot of stuff through the radio, so when you change it you end up with extra wires
oh and you might need to plug a resistor on one of the lines, cuz the radio does give some resistance, so if you're blowing your dash light fuse, then put a 1 meg-mig??(forget the unit) resistor on it
lol fine:p but id still like some help in advance...im only 17 and i know a lot about my car but im sure theres ppl here who know alot more so im open to any help....YES ILL BUY THE DAMN BOOK! sorry bout the caps but ya any help besides telling me to buy the book would be appreciated lol
