phantom grip lsd?

i keep reading about this "phantom grip" lsd. i try to look it up, but it seems soo vauge. what is it exactly? is it a full lsd unit? the site says its a multifit unit?! what does that mean?

all the photos show a small unit, almost looks like half of a diff unit. can someone help me out on this?

Its not a "real" LSD. It is only a spider gear that goes into your stock differential that gives it LSD characteristics. Thats why they are a fraction of the price, and thats why they arent the real thing.

What are the pros and cons of it? I'm going to assume that it works like a geared LSD and not like a clutch type or a viscous type diff. If I don't want to go all out and get a "real" LSD, would this be a good alternative for occasional track use?

phantom lsd SUCK!!! dont get them. they will just chew up your diff.
search on honda-tech.com for some more info.
save you money and get a real one. like KAAZ or quaife
