need Help please 3vz Camry high idle

Just did a JDM swap in a 93 Camry.Cant find the cause of the high idle after and before warmup.Checked timing, for codes nothing amiss. What can i check next since i`m away from a shop? Pulled green CTS ,nothing changes. It idles at 13-1400,and when put in gear drops to 950rpm.Please give some ideas?I dont just want to throw switches at it.

thanks
Dave

Notice if the idle drop back after the car is warmed up, if it does, the problem might be the coolant temperature sensor. Try to check it with a multimeter before replacing it to see if its good or not.
