A few 3s-fte questions for the gurus.

So, I was looking into turboing the 3s-fe and I still have a few unanswered questions.

1. Is running water lines to a ct-26 necessary? I know many other turbos don't need/have them.

2. Will an oil restrictor be necessary, or does the ct26 have one built in. If so what is a recommened size for a -3an line.

3. Will the flapper afm need to be run on the boost side in order for the car to idle. I know when turboing an NA nissan, this is necessary.

4. Can I utilize stock injectors at 6 psi of boost with an fmu? Also, what ratio FMU?

5. Finally in terms of ingnition timing, should it be 1/2* per 1psi of boost pressure?

thx for the help in advance.

turbo life decreases if you dont have them on a turbo that was designed for it.

-3AN is the size of the line, need of a restrictor depends on your oil pressure. I'm not using one on mine, just make sure your return line is BIG.

It shouldnt make a difference on what side its on. However you cant use a atmospheric BOV after the flap and thats where most people make the mistake. Creating an air leak will cause the car to not run properly.

Probably, FMU is a bandaid solution. Maybe a 1.3:1 ratio.

Good luck adjusting that without a standalone. I'd say start with 20degrees full timing
