Question manual swap

havin a hard time finding anyone who carries an E153 tranny. all i can find so far is a manual for 88-up camry V6. anyone know if this will work. and if not anyone know of anyplace that sells the E153?? need to solve this problem or the Camry will never leave the garage( at least not with the turbo). i need al applicable parts to do the swap. thanks

goto www.car-part.com and do a search. I found a few in Ohio last time I checked (last week) and if I remember right, there was one in both Akron and Columbus.

damn i got a good memory...

hey thanks for the info i found several of them within 100 miles of my house. they have like 10 camry trannys and 2 MR2 turbo trannys, which one should i go with ?? the camrys trannys are significantly less than the MR. are there any special parts or modifications that need to be made to the MR to make it work ??

hey ratko, I been to your site and reading however simple question, hope you know, my gen 5 i4 the tranny is the S54 tranny right? could I use the E153 tranny and would the parts on your list fit my car, and how did you know what fits on yours? so if those parts on your car doesn't fit, how would I know which fit, about to compile a list so I can gather all the parts I need in order to do the swap
