2.4L supercharged?!

I currently have a '91 previa awd. The deal here is that in '94, toyota put a supercharger (s/c) in the previas. I would like to get a used '94 or newer 2.4L s/c from Japan and put in the '91 previa.
Is that possible?
What else would I need, besides buying a '94 or newer previa with a s/c?
I have family that own a mechanic shop so taking out the engine wont be a problem (I dont think).

why not just swap the whole engine in? it wouldnt be much more expensive, and itll give you a fresh engine that will swap right in

Thanks, I figured that it would be the same motormounts and that it would fit right in. I can get an engine from Japan and that is what I plan on doing. But I am wondering if I need any other accessories such as a computer for the s/c?

You can start by getting the factory manuals for both engines. You will need the wiring harness and ECU for sure from the SC. Beyond that, you are going to have to compare part numbers for things like drive shafts, CV joints. Also make sure that they use the same block and that the 2 previa's are from the same model generation. You can also google MR2 engine swap to give you an idea of what is involved.

Thanks Rapid Roy, this will be a great place to start! I knew that it was more than just a straight engine swap. Might just be better to find a 94 or newer previa that had a s/c and needs a new engine and buy that one?
