Speedometer? never saw one of those. I have seen a powersteering light on a newer highlander, it looks like a steering wheel. but that is because they have electronic assisted power steering

this *could* be a cruise control light. I know newer ford vans use a little symbol of a speedometer as a cruise control indicator.

toyota highlander Speedometer symbol alert

i have a 2005 toyota highlander, there is a symbol on my speedometer and i'm getting concerned about it. It looks like parentheses with an exclamation point inside it, kind of like this: (!) and it has a squigly line at the bottom.
Does anyone know what this alert is for?

Speedometer Alert symbols meaning

HI Twisted Sid.
Yes, I initially thought of looking in the owner's manual, I'm sure that would help, but I got my car from an auction in Vegas and for whatever reason, it did not come with an owner's manual.
Do you have any idea what the (!) symbol could mean or how I could find out?
Thanks for the reply.

What happens there, stays there.

Squishy (!) usually is tire pressure monitoring.
