Gen6 5SFE block with 3SGTE head??

I have a 1994 Toyota Celica and I am pretty sure that it threw a rod the other day. I had a guy on another forum told me to do this setup. Its the 5SFE block with the 3SGTE head. I have never heard of it, so I was curious as to whether or not anyone on here has done it before and how difficult is it? What other parts would I be needing, as in timing belt, head studs, gaskets, tranny, ECU, and anything else? Mine right now is a Toyota Celica ST (7AFE) motor with an automatic tranny. I don't plan on changing it to a manual as I don't really have the money/time. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

2. Type in 5SGTE
3. Click submit

Threads should come up.

Click one.

And also, if you dont have the money or time to swap trannies, i wouldnt even bother trying this setup.
It will cost a good amount of money to get one of these going.

The 5s block wont bolt to the 7a tranny anyways, so if you dont want to swap out the trasmission why bother with anything. you need a "A" series engine if you want it to bolt right up
