Timing is everything - literally with the 5SFE. Most people feed all the extra fuel, but they forget about the timing. A MSD BTM can be setup to pull your timing 1deg per pound of boost, which in combination with a proper block work, fuel management, and intercooling, should let you run 1 bar safely.
Ratko, I am already lookoing into picking up a MSD 6BTM, dfinitely a great tool for tuning. I'm already on that thread, Luis1822 nobody has replied to my last post though.
sounds like a sweet setup, do you happen to know what spec t3/t4 he'll be running? Is he going to used the 3sgte manifold with the t3/t4 adaptor flange?

Turbo Performance has a tubular turbo manifold for a 5S-FE, but I don't see it on their site (www.turbo-performance.com) anymore.
Extreme Boost has a badass turbo manifold. Its made for a MR2 Turbo, but as you know it'll bolt up to a 5S-FE.
naaaaa not that thing i know what a turbo is, that other thing on there, im guessing its an external wastegate? i havnt payed attention to turbo setups that closly so i wasnt sure, i just noticed this time cuz its pretttttttttyyyyyyyy
Although I don't know what max boost is, I am swapping to a 7-12 PSI spring for my pop-off valve and will run 7 PSI on my setup when I receive it. I am ordering it tomorrow!
I know someone else who is running 8 PSI on the same setup.
