Question ? about the ct26 turbo

if i wanted to put a 57 trim compressor wheel on it, is it a direct swap or does it have to go to a turbo shop to get machined out??

thanks.

I'm pretty sure it has to be machined, but not positive. You can check out www.alltrac.net or the mr2 board to find out for sure.

what i'm asking is if i bought a 57mm trim and the compressor housing is already bored out will it swap directly in or does the turbo housing itself have to be machined???

Just the compressor housing needs modification. The center section is fine.
