Put the engine on a skateboard, and tow yourself on a tricycle.

10 seconds is a very long shot, considering the fastest I've seen a Camry go is high 13's with damn near 300hp.

please kill yourself now.

you'd need to get a turbo, build up the bottom end, chop off every part of the car you don't need (stage 3209483209 weight reduction: trunk, doors, etc etc)

the day i see a 10 sec camry is the day i buy myself a ferrari

Err...excuse the bluntness of the thread, but a 10 second Camry is pretty much unheard of. Cmon guys...go easy on the newbie.

i suppose your best shot would to have it be done in a gen. 1. the amount of space under the hood can hold nearly anything with proper mounts, and the stock weight is a lowly 2100 lbs. fit in a 3S-GTE, add a few mods, strip the car down, add a few more mods... with a large chunk of DIY work, a hint of luck with finding the right parts, and a used gen 1, you could make it happen with about $12k (very rough estimate). that price also includes the car.

you might even be able to buy mine. it's only 147k mi. young.

Nah, just strap a couple jet engines on there....
so what if the roof is the only part of the car to make a 10sec qm.

Holy Moly, what a sleeper that car is. Can you imagine the poor schmuck who pull up next to that thing at the lights? AWD and boosted to 400+ hp? hehehe
The FWD model they built 'only' hits 13's though with about 380 hp. What a difference traction makes.

drop in a 3sgte running 2 bar, but make sure you hook it up to the tranny backward so that you actually have to drive hte car backwards which makes the camry into a rearwheel drive car and then go from there....
