short ram intake question

ok guys i am new and i need somehelp and apparently this board has people who know what they are talking about, i had this thread earlier, but nobody continued talking on it and i was looking for some help- i have a short ram for my 99 v6 and it only has two spots for tubes. I need to drill a third hole in the pipe for another tube and i have a couple questions on this, does it matter where i drill the hole, the short ram already has the existing two holes on opposite sides of the bar, one on the left with the MAF and one on the right by itself. So shuold it matter where the next hole and hose is placed AND does it matter what order these hoses are connected into the short ram, i just don't wanna screw stuff up.
i apprecitae any help and advice

Sorry I don't have an answer, but what is the third hole for?
MAF, Vacum Sensor, then what?

Maybe you should see what the relative positioning of these items on the stock system was and try to emulate that

ok well the ram already has the box for the MAF sensor, but people tell me i need to attach the hoses to three parts on teh intake, but i only have two parts on the intake to attach these hoses, so i need to add more more drilled hole to attach the hose, my question would be then, does the positioning of these hoses on the short ram matter, or is it just cool as long as i have three holes for three hoses...

just drill a hole anywhere, screw in a nipple and plug a hose on it

its dead simple, those hoses just need to be connected so there can be some flow and pressure sensing

Searched the site, found this thread, but there's no info on it that's useful.

What did you do to fix the intake?
How did you hook up those hoses?
How did you hook up the intake?
Anyone got pics?

I've got the intake on, and two of the hoses on, but I've still got the smallest hose unconnected, cause there's nowhere to hook it up.
Did you drill a new hole and put a nipple on or what?
