Would an iron on a low setting fix that perhaps? Or would that melt the material? What is interior upholstery like that made out of, anyway?

Take off the plastic trim, pull down the part of the headliner that's bubbled, clean out the dried headliner glue with a scraper, put some more headliner glue up there, and stick it back up Then, use some kind of small paint roller or a small ball to squish out any wrinkles.

This is actually from a corolla. I suppose it is using the same material.

i think they sell kits at autoshops that let you repair your whole headliner. i did that on my dads station wagon and it looked good as new... too bad the rest of the car was falling apart.
