i know it take a while (3 month atmost) to notice the difference in shifting, like synchro, and right now, i noticed that my tranny in 2nd gear can run 8000RPM so smooth with less vibration....
my question is, has anybody notice big difference having it in your tranny after its got its wear?
I had it in my Camaro and it made a huge difference, the trick is to throw it in as soon as you feel your tranny going. I might grab a 3SGE tranny for my car and throw in GM Syncromesh fluid, I've heard good things about that stuff too.
Its just like changing oil, remove the two plugs (one is located a bit higher than the other), let it drain completely (helps if its a little warm) and then put the lower plug back, refill through the upper hole until it starts dribbling out and replace that plug.
The hardest part is finding a funnel or somthing that is long enough to reach the fill hole, I used a length of clear tubing attached to a small funnel, worked nice as long as you have one person holding the tube in the fill hole and one pouring slowly.
when i was getting my MT-90 atelement, Ratko kindly researched it for me on the net to see how many fluid i needed for my car. and the result was 2.7 quarts.
so its on the net some where, do your research, and drop by the shop.
i bought mine by case, and if you know anybody else who is interested, try to get group buy...yourself might save $5. considering that these fluid are not cheap...for only 3 quarts.
