Drag Day Tips

Going draging today and needed to find a post or an article online about tips to prepare. I used search couldnt find so can someone help?

Things like only have a 1/4 tank of gas to save weight.....what tire pressure to run etc. etc. ????? Any help here?

This is from what I've heard, I've never dragged though... Depending on the quality of your tires, the fronts (since you're FWD) should be lowered to like 15-17 psi, I'm not sure about the backs but it stands to reason you'd want them at normal pressures or maybe slightly above.

Do you have adjustable suspension? Front should be squishy, back end should be firm.

Weight reduction. Remove your back seat, spare, go on a diet, etc.

for the rear, try to find some 13 inch rims with some 165/70 on it

the smaller the rim and the narrower the tire the better
