European Union TE51 2T swap for 22R-E?

I have a 1977 Corolla Liftback TE51. I came across a 1984 US Celica GT RA64 and I am about to swap Celica for my 1992 Starlet S Jap spec. I was just wondering if it is a good idea to take out the 2T and replace with the 22R-E including all wiring, axle, independant suspension steering rack, everything.

I was also wondering which gearbox would bolt up to the 22R-E. I have a T40 and will not be reaching high hp i.e. less than 200hp. Also my TE51 is RHD and the Celica is LHD, Is it possible, does anyone know, to use the steering rack maybe upside down?? I've heard of it with Lancia Delta LHD to RHD coversions in Europe.

Thanks for your patience and time,
P.S. I'm a newcomer and this is a great site.

The 22RE is a solid engine; have a look in the truck section for more information, as well as problems and fixes.
Your best option is to use a W58 gearbox out of an RAxx type Celica. Not sure about the other questions.
