Winter lights?

Winter is almost here, and I guess no one really thinks about how well you can see in a storm, but I'm pretty fed up with my Silverstars in inclement weather. They are wikked in nice weather, but all but useless as soon as it rains, so i've decided to go back to an yellowish bulb (or try to find a wikked high lumen output 9006 bulb).

Thing is, everyone is obsessed with getting 'white' light and there hasn't been much (if any) discussion on good and bright 'regular' lights. Has anyone tried things like the Philips WeatherVision bulbs or equivalent? We switch from snow tires to summer tires...why not summer and winter lights? hahaha

yellow probably penetrates snow better, yellowish, the reflections off the flakes would not be as bad

A yellow light is actually the best light to have in a snowstorm or foggy night..
