is this just crazy talk? or would this be feasable?
i know lots of truck guys do the swap, but how about in a camry? it should bolt up to the tranny, motor mounts? exhaust those would probably be the interesting parts right...?

'90 4Runner (3.4 swap, CA certified legal with K&N intake, modified thermal coated headers, 2.5" exhaust, and almost as fast as a stock 3rd gen ) SOLD
Can you search the web and find out what else the 5V comes in besides the runner if anything? Did it ever come in a car? If it did, you can look at one and get a visual. If not, you might have smog issues putting a truck engine in a car since the standards are lower. At least that would be the case in CA. YMMV of course.

Hey, I was just thinking, what about the 1MZ? You could get one for a reasonable price with tranny if you want and it should more or less drop right in. I helped someone drop one in a Celica and it gets up and goes pretty good now. Got better specs than the 3VZ that's for sure. I think there's a supercharger kit for it too. And it's all aluminum so should save you some weight.
