Redlight to redlight low speed racing I took a 3rd gen Camry by a soild margin and was pulling off from him. What's the minimum engine he could have had? had an SE tag on pass upper trunk area and was painted body color where says Camry.
i'll post again on this one. i made my last 1/4 run on friday before it closes for the season. i got my new best run, its slow but its better than what i had gotten before.

92 le 5sfe. k&n filter, cai to the front bumper, 2.5" exhaust cat-back. c/f hood and full shogun body kit. automatic tranny which was built for boost so it doesnt do anything to help with this little amount of power. for weight reduction no back seat, passenger seat or spare tire. now no one say "thats cheating because it's not how you drive your car daily." well i have been driving my car like this since last spring so all through the summer i drove my daily driver like this. it wasnt only for the track and then i put stuff back in when i got home, my interior has been out for months so this is how i took the car down. my weight for the run was 3100 pounds, i am 300 of those pounds.
i dont know if you would consider this stuff performance but i also have oil cooler, trans cooler and run redline 5w30 oil.

Can I see pics of your engine bay? Can you also take some pics of the tranny? So you are making pretty consistant 17.2 sec 1320ft. passes with this set up?

i'll see what i can do with those picsof the engine. i'll try to clean it and take pics of it this weekend. oh and how am i going to take pics of the tranny? what would you like to see? yea i guess the 17.2 is good, if i were lighter in like the mid 100's instead of 300 pounds it would be good for 16's. also since i have an auto my stall only goes to 3000, if i had a stick and could raise it up to 5-6000 and get a good 60' time i'd be in the 16's.
it's funny how 17's are so slow to everyone else but to camry owners we get excited because that's fast for our cars.

well actually i dont think the shogun really adds that much weight to the car. i think i might be taking the back and front bumper off because they are both messed up and cracked. i think i'm going to throw the stock front bumper on, get the millen front and leave the shogun side skirts on with the stock back bumper. it might look like only half a kit but that back bumper catches a lot of wind in there so with the stock bumper in place the air wont get caught, it would look like an Indy race car ( you know the cars that drive in circles).
