It's official... I'm blowing Oil...

Any ideas on what it could be?

It's under heavy acceleration.

take out your pcv valve and see if it still does it, if its bad you might be building too much pressure in the head blowing oil though the valve guide seals

From what I've seen, bad valve seals will give a puff of blue on startup. Bad rings will give blue smoke from idle but not in huge amounts for you to notice, at redline however, you can see it in your rearview. A plugged PCV could also do the same, but most often you'll see oil running out of the PCV hose or valve.

3S-FE's have a PCV system, but no PCV valve.

Should I try a heavier oil???
I'm running 5w30 right now. Should I maybe step up to 15 or 20 weight?

Ok.. so I checked the PCV, or at least what I thought was the PCV tube that comes out of the valve cover. I wasn't able to actually pull the tube and see if it was clogged. But theres no visable oil oustide the tube.

Any ideas of how to check the tube? Haynes doesn't offer mush on the engines without a PCV valve.
