powershifting vs speedshifting

i'm been curious about these 2 terms for a while now. please can anyone correct me if i'm wrong...


POWERSHIFTING: as far as i know from the domestic boys, this is shifting between 2 gears without using the clutch and can only be done a the right rpm.

SPEEDSHIFTING: shifting from one gear to the other by quickly pressing the clutch without taking your foot off the gas.

I've always thought power shifting was when you stay on the gas... Never heard of speed shifting though.

i believe you're right on powershifting
and i guess speedshifting makes sense

Which one to use???
Depends.
If you powersfhit and the wheels spin, then don't powershift for that gear
change. ie...if the 1st to 2nd shift spins when you powershift, then
speedshift the next run. "
