4age 10.3:1 pistons

sup guys. just bought a set of smallport 4age 10.3:1 pistons from ebay, apparently they are new cast pistons w/pins. i had to confirm the compression with the seller and he relisted the item labeled as:

Bore 81mm or 3.189"; Dome Top with 4 Valve Reliefs; Comp. Ratio 10.3:1; Comp. Distance 1.171" ; Pin Dia. .787"; 1-1.2mm, 1-1.5mm Comp and 1-3.0mm Oil Ring Grooves.[I][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4][B]

paid $59.99 + free shipping for these.. i would say get 'em while u can but i cant speak for them yet and im not here to sell but its going to be a few months still b4 i get the engine rebuilt so if any1 else tries them id be glad to know the results. seems like a good deal but the low price makes me wonder. hopefully they'll be nice strong oem pistons, but arent the oem high comp pistons hard to source?

hit this thread up if u have any knowledge of these piston. they are made by "perfect circle" ..when i searched i found perfect circle-mahle .. i starting to wonder if these are mahle-manufactured pistons. if this is the case, then i just got a damn good set of pistons. afaik, they are the stock bore...

now if i could just find some damn new rods and a new crank kit!

the pistons have arrived... they are indeed the 10.3:1 high comps. they are in fact domed as well, not flat like the lowcomps. if u guys need pix i can provide. the dome on the piston is around .040-50 high from the surface of the piston, somewhere around there. they are standard as well.

im not trying to sell them, but if any1 is looking for a set of brand new oem spec high comps, i believe that they are worth a shot... ive been looking for a while hoping i could find a set of brand new high comps listed as for the prism gsi, etc, to get around the higher prices associated with listings such as "4age" or "ae86" etc.. well i believe i finally got lucky.

here r the pix.
