Unhappy AE82 Corolla Avante power probs

Hi everyone, I have a 85 Toyota corolla avante which gives me the engine fault code 3, something to do with the ignition,
ignition circuit or the ecu not getting an signal or something. Would anybody please suggest what I should do? i don't have much experience with the ignition circuit so I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thanx in advance.

Maybe one of the wires going to the ECU is lose or it has ripped, check all your wiring. Specially the ones on the ECU itself.
