installing struts and lowering springs
does anyone know how to install struts and lowering springs on a gen3 camry with rims and tires (mounted), at ur own home

rent a spring compressor, and buy a haynes manual
takes about half a day

i would say make sure you have at least 2 jacks. i would use a regular jack to lift up the car and then us the pyramid base jacks to hold up the car on each side. Never can be too careful

i changed my struts and springs out for the first time WITHOUT using a haynes manual... its fairly easy... just hard on the hands

no, but you'll save yourself a whole shitload of work....
it's simple, but possibly time consuming.....'specially if its your first time

yeh well id probably just have someone else put em on....but i heard the OEM struts could snap with the lowering springs

They will not "snap"
Your car will still function it just won't be ideal. It might bounce a lot. I'm sure you've seen those Civics bouncing down the road...
Also you will have to change the struts eventually, so if you do it now, you save yourself the time and money to take apart the suspension twice.
