MAP sensor and throttlebodies

I am thinking of fitting throttlebodies made of old carburetors to my 3S-FE (yes, call me crazy..). The problem is, I wouldn't want to buy those expensive aftermarket ECU's to hande the change... I already have a "piggyback" programmable chip installed. So, any tips/advices how I should install the MAP sensor?

I thought of getting a small tube from every cylinder to one 4-to-1 connector and then connect it to MAP sensor. Would this work?

Also, isn't the latest 4A-GE equipped with throttlebodies and MAP? How is that made?

Sorry for my bad grammar

But doesn't Megasquirt use MAP sensor?
I have heard that there would be working gadgets that use throttlebodies and MAP but can't find any

Vaccum Rail/Tree

You can get a good MAP signal by running a vaccum line from each throttle body to a common line (like a fuel rail) to the MAP sensor. The 4AGE 20 valve Blacktop engine has quad throttle bodies, and the MAP sensor is setup this way.

Thank you so much Hoffa, that was the answer I was looking for And it seems that the programmable chip can handle the throttlebody conversion (atleast in BMW's and Vauxhalls).

Now back to the drawing board...
