Question intake manifold!!!

alright soooo i am pretty sure my intake manifold is leaking.....and i followed the steps in my chilton and got the hoses and throttle body and all that good stuff off. now the problem....i cant get the four bolts off the bottom of the manifold!!! i tried for several hours yesterday and i could get my box head on them...and a ratchet.. but i cant get enough strength behind it to move them...anyone have this problem in the past and figured somethin out that i have missed??

Leverage my boy!

If you can get a rachet on the bolt, use some kind of hallow pipe, slide it on the rachet (to basicaly make the rachet handle real long) you should be able get them loose from there.
