has anyone seen or know where i can see the power and/or torque curves for a stock 5S-FE? i've always seen 130 hp @ 5400 rpm, and either 140 or 145 (which is right) ft-lbs. @ 4400 rpm. or mabye the baseline test with a stock engine before re-dynoing with performance parts. i'd really like to see a graph though, because acceleration really seems to drop off after 5000 rpm. just currious, wanna know more about my car. thanks.

If you care about the 5S-FE stock dyno readings, go to my site and click on "Dyno readings" at the top of the first page. The first image that comes up is the reading I did before doing anything to my car.
It dyno'ed at 100HP / 124ft/lb ...at the wheels. Max power was at 5300RPM.
thats just an ignorant comment...tell Steve Meisner his car is weak. Tell me my car is weak come this summer. The 5SFE has great potential, just needs some good tuning and know-how to go along with it

so if we upgraded our stock internals of 5sfe with better pistons, rings, valves, camshafts, would we be able to up the boost level to past 10 psi safely? how much horsepower will we be able to gain here?
