Thanks for all the input guys, good points by everyone.

I think ill just keep the battery up front and just extend the wires to fit. My coupe is already about 100 lbs lighter than the sedans, plus with the tranny swap and the above listed items, i should be well under 3000 lbs which was my goal.

Flashmn: When my interior is done, it will be hardcore but not ghetto. It will be nice, you'll all be able to see the pics when Im done!

thanks!

My car runs mid 15's weighing 3150lbs, and that's taking off 230lbs...it runs 16.0 at full weight.

Hello Everyone
Well, my only proof is Sport Compact.
It's not a complete formula due to the lack of torque in smaller engines.
They took bags of concete and slowly added it to each of like 5 different cars.
Those w/ smaller engines suffered worse than those w/ larger engines but none the less for every bag of concrete added there was a loss of acceleration.
By taking 1/4 times, weight , gearing you can come up w/ a hp figure.
On the other hand you can do the reverse and take your hp,weight, gearing and come up w/ 1/4 mile times.
I don't have these formulas but I know they are on the net somewhere.
+/- 100 lbs = +/- 8 hp is just a good rule of thumb.

Speedemn:
You run 16.0 flat w/ interior what do you have ? Solara V6? (spelled wrong for sure)

Flashmn:
Cool Man!!
I've thought about cutting out the saftey shi* but might just wait till it's race only.
Well, gotta go C-YA!!

I'm not anish, but yeah, it's a Solara v6 automatic. Someone else with the heavier SLE ran 16.3.
