TEMS Shocks..inquiry

anyone here has a TEMS Shocks installed on their ride?

TEMS (Toyota Electronically Modulated Suspension) shock absorbers.

have a set installed on my ae92, prob is i thinking of enabling it, as per discussion with certain people, they said TEMS are designed for STOCK SPRINGS, mines lowered 1.5 B+G springs.

do you think enabling TEMS on a Lowered car will serve its purpose?

thank for the replies (hopefully)

North American AE92's didn't get TEMS, so you probably won't find much help. The MKIII Supra did though, try searching that forum, I think there may have been a thread about it.

Some of the Celica GT-R (ST183) had TEMS, do a search on Google, I'm sure you'll find something.

Experience on the Supras with tems...they don't last a large amount of time on lowering springs, but it depends on the spring rate. They were designed to work at stock height and stock rates. I assume you are using Tokico shocks (as the factory ones would be long expired now)...expect to replace them often. We find they are ok, but blow-outs are common, and it takes a few weeks to cash in on the lifetime warranty.

Hell, we tend to try to get rid of them as fast as possible when going to upgrade suspension components...Consider Konis with eibach springs if they are available for your application. In the end, they'll likely be cheaper too.

so i see.. i decided not to enable the tems wiring.

though im happy how the suspension is behaving with the B+G springs..

the ride is soft...like how an american car rides/behaves... compared to INTRAX paired with KYB gas GR2s from my friends.

heres the site ive created for my lowering... hope you like it.
