Exhaust Leak?

I've noticed my car repeatedly makes a quiet dull 'thud' noise at the tailpipe and a slight decrease in torque when I'm letting out the clutch. It idles fine, and tach stays consistant but it sounds like the thuds happens every 2 or 3 seconds. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor are almost new. The plugs read good and the cap has no checking.

Could it be an exhaust leak? Bad cat? Somthing else?

Bad rings? Knock sensors? Could be pulling timing....

Bad gas? Fuel filter? Dirty injectors?

Gas is good, fuel filter is near new, plugs are good so its not bad rings.

Could be dirty injectors, and if it is knock sensors then there must be a cause. Hmm.

Well if it was truely an exhaust leak, you'd probably hear more of a ticking sound usually when the engine is under load.

I think ticking would be at idle, not with a load. But its not there, so I dunno know.
