Cracked sparkplug wire boot: problematic?

Changed my plugs the other day and was again reminded that on my number 1 plug the boot that you grasp to disconnect the wire from the spark plug has a rip in the rubber. I don't see any sparking or glow from it, but I wanted to ask the collective wisdom of TN if this could be problematic and if I should go ahead and replace this thing as a preventative measure.

It's not that dark line on the right, the crack is on the left where you can't see it, on the cylindrical part of the plug.

Shouldn't be a problem, put some sort of glue on it if it bothers you.

quick way to check any plug wire for acing.
KOER, ground your test light and point it to suspect area. If the light comes on then you have a leak. you can also run the test light the length of each plug wire to check for acing.
