Hi! I have a 82' Corolla with a brake problem, Before the brake is hard but working, I send the car to a mechanic for repair, the mechanic replaced the master cylinder, power booster and adjusted the brake pads. Now comes the problem: Whenever I start the engine, the brake pedal is low and soft, I have to pump the pedal 3 to 4 times before it goes up to a good level. but sometimes even when the vehicle is moving for sometime the break pedal comes back to its Low and less power state. The mechanic said that one of my bleeder id missing. What could be my problem?
See how pretty are those corolla models are? That is why I don't want to sell it, and another point is that here in the Philippines, we can re-build the entire car body using stainless sheets. And another point is, The car's maintenance is much cheeper than new once and they are very durable. Now can someone help me please?

Ah yes... the car is 22 years old... BUY a new car!!!!
A 1982 car can't be as safe, as fun, as reliable, as energysaver as a 2004 car....
What are you waiting for
fool
Some of the old school Japanese cars are better and more reliable and more fun than the newer ones. And for gas mileage take the 1988 Honda CRX HF for example, it was decently quick and had only a gas engine and got 50 MPG, how has all of this new hybrid technology improved on that? It hasn't! I also doubt an '04 Corolla is any better than and AE86 or any of the later model GTS Corollas. Not to mention how awesome pop-up headlights are. Don't trash the classics.
RWD!!!
reym: If one of your bleeder valves was missing I don't see how the mechanic could have bled your brake system properly. Air in the fluid can cause a soft pedal...
