AE92 no spark problem - HELP !!

Looking for some help and/or ideas
1990 Corrola GTS

Stalled car at lights on morning and she hasn't started since
I've checked wiring, fuses, etc., and replaced the coil and igniter (new OEM @ $500).
Still no spark from coil !
Any suggestions ?
On limited budget so more expense at a garage is a last resort

Thanks

Had a no spark issue with my 4afe. Copper windings down around the shaft came apart, I replaced the whole dist. with a junkyard piece.

sometimes getting your car checked at a shop is cheaper, than guessing on your own and buying parts from dealership brandnew

it seems like the pick-up coil/signal generator assembly is faulty (inside your dizzy), try to simulate the signal action with your battery, pulse it on and off (connect to battery then disconnect) and you should see a spark, if you do grab another distributer from wreckers

Unhappy no spark update

Ok here we go

Have now replaced igniter, coil and installed a replacement distributor ( which I know is working )
I have power @ the coil , igniter, injectors, all grounds have been checked and cleaned. All wiring from dizzy has been checked for continuity.
There is fuel pressure. Timing belt OK
Everything seems to be Ok but still no spark !!
Any other ideas

The car is currently with my mechanic and even he is stumped so far
