cutting it with an O/A torch is abd...its sooo innacurate...you'll be grinding for days....unless you do a rough cutting job and just grind it down to precission.

but yeah...thats what i was thinking....i got access to a tig welder, maybe i'll try that...I justhope my welds won't crack later though.

any ideas where i can get flanges?

Ever see a fat guy pick up an engine and make a run for it? If you do tell me where those engines are. But they are probably heavyer than my max press. :sad:
The best I've ever done is a .... wel I'm not actually sure of the weight. How much would a machien frame made of steel about the size of a AE86 minus the front engine area weigh? I moved 6 of these bowling machine frames from the front of my dads bowling alley to the back parking lot. Picking them up and moving them was faster than using a busted up dolly. I know the pit belt (actually the whole pit) must have weighed about 600lb but I had to drag that.
What did you expect me to be weak? I tore a van door off of a van when I was 6(I'm not joking too just ask my parents).
