ge swap on 7a block

was thinking of doing a full swap on my 93 Corolla LE (7a-fe engine) but then somebody suggested that i do a ge swap on my 7a block. with the little knowledge i have on the subject i know it'll make it faster and i sorta have an idea of what would have to happen, but if anybody can give me a better idea of what would need to happen (brief outline sorta deal) that'd be great.
thanks
-jim
