looking for a cheap intake for my 85 toyota celica supra...... i can probably make one, but i'd rather see what I can buy rather then spending the time on it.
ha yea i know i'd have to take that off if i get the turbo ....... but i just wanted something cheap.... because right now it may be just a daily driver... depending if i want to get into working on my project 79 280zx ha...... do you guys think that a CAI that is for like an mkIII will work?
dont know....prolly not...cus every car is different....the angles for where the intake enters the throttle body and the location of the battery and the hole leadin to the bumper area....

zonicamry: do you know where this dude would be able to find an intake for an 85 celica supra
HotwheelHarmer: have to make your own.
HotwheelHarmer: there isn't much made speficially for a 2nd gen supra and especially the 5mge in it
You want a really cheap one...? You could just take off all of your intake now, put on one of those little race setup filters and just suck air straight into the throttle body.
go to a part store and get the right size exhaust tubing and couplings from lowes or home depot (rubber couplings)
it all should make sense when you get the pipes
yea i knew that haha... i was thinking of removing that whole intake assembly... but i just saw i pic of how someone did it and all they did was remove the end canister adn riged a filter and a rubber sleave and a pipe..... seams easy enough.. that would probably run me $30... approx.
