Engine Swap

Hey Guys. New to the forum and my first question is.....

I have a 2003 Highlander as my DD. My weekend play car is a 2000 Corvette. I am thinking of replacing my LS1 engine in the vette and wondering if anyone has any experience with swapping a GM engine to a Highlander. Is it possible? What sort of issues should I be considering? Engine bay fit; transmission/rear end stress? Before you flame me with anti GM stuff, my motivation is this. Although the Highlander has been a great ride, I have @125K miles logged. I know the engine can go many more times around, but frankly I'm just getting a little bored with it. If I replace my LS1 engine (now with 70K miles), I would likely end of selling it to recover some of the cost of replacement. Just thinking if it would work in the Highlander, what a ride it would be! Thoughts?
