'97 Corolla high idle
Hope you guys could help me out...
It's a '97 1.6, auto, basic 104,457 miles . No power anything or cruise control. A couple months ago the check engine light came on and I didn't get it checked out because the car continue to run fine but gas mileage did go down alittle. The only noticable difference was that while its in park the engine is idling high, when it's in drive, it comes down to were its suppose to and when the a/c is on.
I finally took it to auto zone this weekend and it displayed to error code..
P0401
P0505
As for the first one P0401, do you guys think that the egr valve is faulty or could it be a vacuum leak.
The second one (according to the code book at auto zone) it indicated that it could be a vacuum leak then secondly it might be a idle air control valve (something like that)
