Forgot to update this thread with the pics of the work done so.....
Ready to see the work but already suprised at the careful packaging.
The first part I got out was the brand new crank pulley. You'd think a solid aluminum pulley would be balanced by default, but this much was removed for perfection.
Then I got out the first rod. I haven't opened them all yet but here's what they look like now.
A little off the top...
And a little off the bottom...
Then I found pistons carefully packed under the rods...
And then the flywheel, pretty close for a multi-part item.
The last part in the box is the crankshaft. I'm not showing what all I had done to the crank, but here's a suggestion to others building a high output Toyota engine...
I had the keyway cut the length of the journal and a same size keystock cut for it. The original design is starting to hurt 4efte's now as the pulley and the timing belt cog share a regular key like this one.
So now I no longer have that as a concern.
